Today we are going to prepare some tea bread slices that we know you are going to love. A simple recipe to prepare in which you can help the little ones of the house making them participate in the pleasure of cooking, and thus enjoying a pleasant time and why not, also fun.

SLICES OF BREAD WITH CHAI TEA AND BUTTER

- 8 slices of white sliced bread
- 400 ml of whole milk
- 75 ml heavy cream or whipping cream
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 4 green cardamom pods
- 4 nails
- 1 cm ginger
- 3 tablespoons bulk tea
- 2 large eggs
- 50 g of powdered sugar + 1 tablespoon extra
INSTRUCTIONS
- To start with the recipe, the first thing to do is to grease a one-liter cake pan with butter.
- Next, remove the crust from the bread and spread butter on one side and then cut it into triangles.
- Place the bread triangles spread side up in the tart pan.
- Next, add the milk, cream, spices and tea in a frying pan on the hotplate.

and bring to the boil. - Once it has boiled, turn off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes and then strain the liquid into another pan.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture has a pale color and a creamy texture. This may take up to 5 minutes.
- Then, slowly add the warm, spiced milk to the egg mixture and beat well.
- Pour this cream over the prepared layers of bread and sprinkle a spoonful of sugar on top and then let it rest for 30 minutes.

at 180° C and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the cream thickens and the surface is golden brown.
These slices of bread are ideal to serve warm and can be eaten alone or with a scoop of ice cream or some jam or marmalade, as you like.
